Two branches of inhabited vine-scroll (symbolic of the faithful partaking of the eucharist) spiral to enclose a squirrel-like creature at
top and a bird at bottom. The inhabited vine-scroll is symbolic of both the tree-of-life and of the faithful partaking of the eucharist.
The two blocks beneath this stone were added during reconstruction. There appears to have been an inscription in the border of this
section of the shaft, but it is no longer legible.
